This is an Ed Wood movie and it's BAD. Not as bad as his sci-fi masterpieces but it's bad nonetheless. So of course you must have it! Here are some highlights. 1) The quality of the print is exceptional. Not a scratch in sight. This allows you to focus on the awful acting, ridiculous storyline and terrible editing. 2) Everything is just so 1950's. The sets, costumes, cars, speech, mores and all else screams of that stupefying, tasteless, hypocritical era (into which I was born, by the way). If you want to see what the 50's looked like, here is your chance. 3) Some of the actors are so stiff and awkward that they look like characters in a pre-Sesame Street puppet show. Have a look at Tedi Thurman's reaction when Clancy Malone is rubbed out in cold blood. Look closely when the second shot is fired. This scene alone is worth a download! (Put down all drinks before viewing it. I cannot be held responsible for any spillage.) 4) Herbert Rawlinson (aka Dr Boris Gregor) died the day after he finished shooting. This is part of a pattern because Bela Lugosi also died while shooting Plan 9 From outer Space. Just goes to show. Ed Wood films are dangerous to the health of anyone who comes near them. Enjoy!
