A very competent actioner about an unnamed terrorist organisation, their attempts to secure nuclear materials for bombmaking and the Israeli secret service's attempts to prevent them. An Israeli agent and his Italian mercenary friend are sent to track the terrorist cell and chase them across most of Europe. This team of two quickly pick up a beautiful accomplice from within the terrorist organisation and with her help seek to trace the missing nuclear materials. There is an outstanding boat chase through the canals of Amsterdam of the ilk of "Puppet on a Chain" or "Amsterdamned" although this film manages to have cars driving at break-neck speed through narrow streets at the same time. And a second chase on foot. At the same time!
In terms of the post-911 world, this film shows a strangely prophetic view of terrorists and their attempts to obtain nuclear weaponry. Produced, filmed and directed by Israelis, "The Uranium Conspiracy" shows that perhaps the Israelis have been more aware of terrorist capabilities and desires for far longer than the Western World...
Shocks, excitement and thrills - I really recommend this film as one of the best I've downloaded from Public Domain Torrents to date. And it even has a message relevant to today, despite being more than 25 years old!
The film features strong language, violence and brief nudity - R/18 advisory.

a fine movie - credible acting, realistic dialogue, some great action! the plot and story are very good, too, at a quick pace. (I think I found a flaw: how did they find out about the baron's home address? from the girl?) the soundtrack/score is 'big' and atmospheric. another nice aspect is that the movie is true multi-language at some points, which they do very rarely. it might be especially nice to watch for german/austrian/italian viewers, due to some familiar actors and settings. there are two weaknesses in the film. one is the little love story between the italian and the girl, which in fact is quite non-existent and could have been developed more deeply. the other is the ugly cropped/panscanned tv-format of the film. overall: it's not a super-movie which grips you by your stomach, but it's great entertainment, among the best films I've seen here on publicdomaintorrents.com (so far). :) - (I recommend 'The Alpha Incident' and 'Virus' (category SciFi/Fantasy), too. Less action, but similar 'feel' in terms of credibility.)

Eight years after this film was made, Mossad abducted Mordecai Vanunu in London, for daring to spill the beans on Israel's own nuclear capability, which they had developed in secret.
It's a badly written, poorly acted piece of hypocrisy, spin and propaganda.
