Considering this is an old, foreign, dubbed movie, it's pretty good. The fight scenes are pretty good in my opinion.

This movie is fake! That guy is hardly fighting in the streets! However if you like a lot of bright red paint... ehem blood you want to watch this movie. Everything from breaking bones to stab in the eye to ripped off nuts (literally!). OK-ish film, 3 of 5 from me.

No, it's no Citizen Kane. No, Sonny Chiba didn't have the most physical grace and, resultingly, lacked aesthetically pleasing martial artistry. This film, however, is flat-out brilliant in it's grittiness and is made by it's uncompromisingly grim violence and the sheer coolness of the astonishingly unsentimental and adamantine aura that Chiba exudes as the main character -- as ridiculously hard-boiled as Chiba plays the role, he manages to make the character chillingly believable.

Well... I know this movie is public domain so I always have a preconceived notion that it is low quality. However, if I had not known that it was public domain, I might have thought it was a decent dubbed back in the days acting martial arts movie. I cannot complain since it is free and you cannot get into trouble for downloading it. If you have the money, a great movie would be Dead-Or-Alive. It is also martial arts, but involves females and updated characters. I believe the film is actually titled "DOA"!
