This is very similar to the movie Lifeboat except that the action takes place in the south Pacific at the end of the war with Japan. A military flight to Manila is hi-jacked by a Japanese officer who is being escorted back to Manila to stand trial for war crimes. In a desperate attempt to escape he takes the plane hundreds of miles off course and in an ensuing struggle causes the plane to crash into the ocean. Everyone takes to the life raft and the fight for survival begins.
